Avengers Assemble

How does one keep a blog interesting. Apart from jotting down any interesting, or less than, events that happen during the day, there is not much to talk about.
So i will try and write each post with a purpose. Nothing heavy, just not rambling streams of my mental collapse (they will be kept to one a fortnight).
As you can tell this is more of a mission statement blog, promising you, my loyal reader, the best damn blog worth reading. I think ill break it into sections, like a magazine.

Life Update: Spent a fair but of time working, at my web design job and at the club, as well as uni work. Finally got Java Path Finder working, but the code i got sent has no errors. Yay. I am 'aquiring' (dont steal TV Show's) Arrested Development Season 1 for ipod, as well as the pilot for 'Heroes', it looks interesting. Alana is away which sucks. I realise just how much i miss her when i have some stupid comment i want to tell, or sms her and can't. Its annoying, and not something i want to get used to.

The Amazing Web of Spiderman: Great video at this link of Biff from 'Back to the Future' singing about his life. Really funny stuff.
Also if you want to have a guess at this its esquire sexiest woman in the world 06. Right now my money is on Scarlett Johansson or Charlize Theron.

Daily Top 5: Songs 1. Johnny Cash - Ive been Everywhere
2. AFI - Miss Murder.
3. Will Smith - I wish i made that / Swagger.
4. Save Me - Remy Zero
5. Nelly Furtado - Turn off the light.

Quote of the Day:
"Dad, you have no idea what I'm capable of." - Lex Luthor (Smallville).

Will Smith still kicks ass

Spent a lot of time catching up with some old dvds lately. If you havent seen Deadwood or Arrested Development you should go and get them now, Ill wait.
Seriously, its 11:20 at night i have nothing else to do.
...
Got them? Good.
They are the pinnacle of scripted drama and sitcom. Too many quotable lines to list here.

Uni is going well, except for the extension given the day the assignment is due that everyone BUT us knew about.
Two weeks to go. Its to good to be true.

Money, Money, Money. I wish you could buy free time. $100 dollars buys you 2 hours where you have nothing to do but relax and do anything. No worrying about assignment, no work. Nothing.
I do get some free time, watching dvds, but even then im doing something else, during Arrested i was cooking, and i did a little uni work during Deadwood.

My drawing is showing signs of improvement. Practise is definately the key.

Wish i had angel wings.
Think ill go buy something off eBay, havent decided what just yet, something cool though.

Go and check out this trailer 300 Trailer. It will knock you out and destroy your thousand nation army.

Ok, This Bacons Done.

Got that from the Simpsons, still funny.

Seriously want to play the new Superman game. Need a 360 for it though. Wont get myself one of those till i graduate. I suppose the wait is good.
I was thinking about that earlier, the on demand way I, and i suppose many live their life. I feel that although i have patience i have no need for it, if i want to watch something i put the DVD in, if i want to hear a song, i download it. Is this a better thing? Im going to say....yes. Getting most things on demand makes you appreciate things you have to wait for even more.

Today had its highs and middles. Didnt do a whole lot, i mean some assignments but still, a feeling of a day wasted. But I did see Alana, and that makes everyday that much better, hell it makes even a bland day like today seem worthwhile.
My group is so not going to have anything to hand in tomorrow, its all on me, and I am the man.

it seems like a tradgedy something i love to do, drawing, ill always suck at. Such a shame, but i will keep trying though, i am slowly getting better, and i suppose i compare myself against some pretty good artisits, such as:
I suppose, this being divine words i should impart some wisdom.
Never, ever give up. Never even think about giving up. This is what stops so many people. It comes down to a matter of perspective. Rather than thinking, "I could never do this", think "How can i do this, what will it take etc"
Thats all you get for now.

Quote of the Day:
" A good friend will bail you out of jail, but a true friend will be sitting right next to you sayin "That was f*%king awesome!!!" "

Divine Words Seat of Heat (Totally Ripping off the Daily Show, I know):
"If time stopped for the rest of the planet, for 48 Hours, what would you do?"

An interesting weekend.

Any weekend where at one point your sitting on some random persons roof with a friend drinking is probably heading towards being a good weekend. But i have a skewed sense of what fun is.
The topic of TV came up. How in the last few years reality has been, watered down to a select few shows that have proven themselves (idol, dancing um i dont know but assume there are more), and in direct contrast to this a number of scripted shows are burning up the charts (Prison Break, Lost, Desperate etc). I realise this has been going on for a while....
MY POINT IS:
my favoutire TV shows are - Simpsons, Arrested Development, Sopranos, Curb / Sienfeld, Deadwood, Entourage, Scurbs & Boston Legal.

Bought my very first thing from iTunes today. I feel like now im part of the party, the keep it legal party. Dont steal music.
As im writing this i find out that i cant move the stuff on unless i update my ipod, not a big deal, just annoying. Speaking of annoying why cant i buy things from the american iTunes store.
The thing i bought from iTunes, Pixars - "Boundin". The four minute movie from the start of "The Incredibles".
I also just bought the second season of "The Ricky Gervais Show".

Quote of the day:
"Well, then, business will have to suffer, alright? And listen -- do me a favor, Tom -- No more advice on how to patch things up. Just help me win, please, alright?"
